Habitat ReStore sells items that have been donated by homeowners, professional remodelers, building supply firms, retailers, manufacturers, and commercial and residential builders.  Our goal is to Habitat ReStore Donor Ambassadors are ready to pick up your donation in the Metro Louisville area!create a sustainable income stream for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville while making a positive environmental impact by diverting these otherwise useful items from the landfill.

• ReStore creates sweat equity opportunities for Habitat Partner Families, who must complete 400 hours of sweat equity before they may close on their Habitat home.

Mon - Fri from 10am - 5pm or Saturday from 9am - 3pm 

You can also give us a call on our Donation Hotline: 502.805.1416 to schedule a donation pickup or use the Donation Form on the right.  We'll contact you within two days to schedule your donation.

FAQs

Q: Does Habitat ReStore pick up donations?
A: Yes. We are happy to pick up your donation within the Metro Louisville area. We do charge $10 for residential pickups to offset the cost of this service.  If you have questions about scheduling a pickup, please call our Donation Hotline: 502.805.1416.

Q: Why won't you take furniture with stains or appliances more than 10 years old?
A: We resell all of the items that are donated to the ReStore in order to generate and income stream for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville.  We cannot accept appliances more than 10 years old, or items that are stained, torn, or broken, because they don't have a resale value.

Q: I have kitchen cabinets I want to donate, but I can't take them out myself. Do you do that?
A: Yes! We have a Deconstruction team that will come and take out your cabinets and schedule a pickup. For more information, visit the Deconstruction page.

Q: Are my donations tax-deductible?

A: All donations to the ReStore are tax deductible. We will give you a form to fill out and keep for your records. Please note: by law, we cannot assign a value to the items that you donate. You will need to consult an appraiser, or visit www.irs.gov for more information.
